LUX offers a variety of manual and CNC machines capable of handling both smaller and larger size piece parts with a high degree of precision. Many of the larger machines are especially suited to satisfy the machining needs of contract customers. Over the years, LUX has developed a strong proficiency in meeting market requirements especially in the European Community.
LUX assembly services are available to customers who need an experienced build resource. We can build machinery to exact customer specifications, using parts we machine or fabricate as well as those furnished by others. We can easily handle the purchase of commercial items if needed. LUX can perform contract assembly to any intermediate level, or through final assembly, checkout and test.
We can accept your design ideas in most of the commonly used computerized formats and manufacturer your tools to your drawings. However, our engineers may also support you with our Customer Product Design Assistance. Our engineering staff is happy to assist customers in their design efforts. Our engineers can offer input on manufacturing considerations, material selection, selection of plating and other secondary operations, assembly automation features, and a variety of value-added processes. We are experts at developing the proper sequence to create a finished part from a flat strip. This is the most critical step of the design process and is paramount to a robust manufacturing process. It is also the most engineering intensive and requires knowledge of many disciplines including material shearing, material forming, material springback, die design, die materials, die build, die maintenance, manufacturing set-up, manufacturing operation, product quality control, secondary process operation and process capability.
